Culinary Festival mission
Culinary Festival would like to offer selected culinary delights, especially those from the Slovenian rural regions, to gourmets and food lovers. Every year the Slovenian Wine Festival gathers the catering industry, managers of restaurants and hotels, business guests, media, salesmen, owners of wine cellars, winegrowers and wine producers, sommeliers, oenologists, members of wine associations, members of wine brotherhoods, wine knights, wine queens and wine lovers. Experts and wine lovers are also known as being gourmets who know that wine and food supplement each other. The diverse offer of the culinary Festival will attract new visitors and those who want to acquire new knowledge.
Aims of the Culinary festival: (1) present the producer and their products to the visitor; (2) bring together producers of culinary delights, experts, buyers and the media; (3) create opportunities for the producers of culinary delights to meet the competition; (4) help promote typical Slovenian products; (5) create a place of endless opportunities, gathering experts and lovers of good wine and food; (6) offer a variety of quality products to experts, lovers of good food and business guests; (7) help increase consumption of these products; (8) create new business opportunities and opportunities for expert debates; (9) educate, especially younger populations, about the combinations of wine and food.
